Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and result-oriented Junior Social Media Specialist to manage and grow our social media presence across various digital platforms. The ideal candidate should have experience in content planning, daily social media posting, reel creation, basic graphic designing, video editing, and paid campaign management. The candidate should also possess knowledge of AI tools and social media trends to drive engagement and brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Manage daily social media activities across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant channels.
- Ensure timely posting and scheduling of content.
- Monitor and maintain brand consistency across all digital platforms.
- Respond to comments, messages, and audience interactions when required.
Content Planning & Calendar Management
- Prepare monthly and weekly social media calendars.
- Research industry trends and Guide creative content concepts.
- Plan festive campaigns, promotional posts, product campaigns, and awareness campaigns.
- Coordinate with designers and marketing teams for timely execution of content.
Content Creation & Editing
- Create engaging captions, creatives, and social media posts.
- Design basic graphics and edit images using tools such as Canva etc
- Create and edit reels, short videos, and trending content using tools.
- Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and current market trends.
Paid Campaign Management
- Assist in planning and executing paid campaigns on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and LinkedIn.
- Monitor campaign performance and optimize campaigns for better reach and engagement.
- Understand audience targeting, budgeting, and campaign objectives.
- Generate campaign performance reports and recommendations.
Social Media Optimization
- Conduct keyword and hashtag research to improve content visibility.
- Understand audience behaviour and determine the best time and type of content to publish.
- Stay updated with platform algorithms and social media trends.
- Suggest new content ideas and growth opportunities.
AI Tools & Digital Innovation
- Utilize AI tools for content ideation, caption writing, image generation, and workflow optimization.
- Leverage tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Canva AI, and other AI-powered platforms to improve productivity and creativity.
- Stay updated with emerging AI tools and digital marketing technologies.
Reporting & Analytics
- Track content performance and engagement metrics.
- Prepare weekly and monthly social media reports.
- Analyze insights and recommend improvements for better performance and audience growth.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other social media platforms.
- Knowledge of social media content planning and calendar management.
- Basic graphic designing and video editing skills.
- Experience in creating reels and short-form video content.
- Knowledge of keywords, hashtags, trends, and posting schedules.
- Understanding of paid campaign management and audience targeting.
- Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in Social Media Marketing or Digital Marketing.
- Experience handling social media accounts and executing paid campaigns will be preferred.
